The STEP files in this tutorial can be used for understanding how to perform mesh refinement in NetGen, for structural models that employ a single geometry imported from a STEP fle, and how to enforce a fixed normal displacement constraint to simulate the presence of a pin joint.

L BRACKET FILLET.STEP
L-bracket model with fillet.
step file, netgen
LINK CUT.STEP
Link model cut in half to take advantage of symmetry. This model has a hole for simulating a pin connection, on which we prescribed a fixed normal displacement of zero as a constraint, to allow rotation.
step file, netgen, fixed normal displacement
L BRACKET FILLET MODERATE.fs2
This is the FEBioStudio model file corresponding to the first model in the tutorial, using a mesh granularity of Moderate, with default values for Max and Min element size.
netgen, step file
L BRACKET FILLET Very Fine Final.fs2
This is the FEBioStudio model file corresponding to the last model in the tutorial, using a mesh granularity of Very Fine, with default value of 1000 for the Max element size, and Min element size set to 0.2
netgen, step file
LINK CUT.fs2
This model file simulates the analysis of a pin joint in the LINK CUT STEP geometry using a fixed normal displacement surface constraint.
fixed normal displacement, step file, netgen
