This project provides an updated version of the finite element models of biphasic contact in the human patellofemoral joint described in the cited publication. The original models used solid elements and active contractile stresses to simulate muscles and their contraction. The updated models provided here use a 'rigid contractile force' to simulate the same muscle contractions, using a simpler approach.
